Code of Ethics for Brain Chase Guides
Individuals who endeavor to form one or more Brain Chase clubs and function as a Guide must not only agree to the terms set forth in the Club Guide Agreement, but also commit to abiding by the Code of Ethics set forth below.
Guide Standards of Behavior
- Promote learning and discovery through the Brain Chase Service.
- Create a healthy, safe and secure environment for Students.
- Encourage Students to share their own ideas and experiences.
- Act in a respectful, ethical and professional manner.
- Be courteous, respectful and prompt.
- Provide accurate information to Students and Parents and communicate regularly with Parents regarding any Club plans and activities.
- Do not use illegal substances (including controlled substances) or abuse prescription medicines or over-the-counter medicine.
- Create an environment that embraces diversity. Do not discriminate against individuals on the basis of race, gender, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age or sexual orientation.
- Promptly notify Brain Chase of any issues or complaints related to the Club or the Brain Chase Service and assist Brain Chase in resolving such issues with the applicable Parents and Students.
- Do not represent that you are an agent or employee of Brain Chase.
- Do not act in a manner that could cause harm to Brain Chase’s trademarks or goodwill.
Grounds For Removal As a Guide
Brain Chase reserves the right to terminate you as a Guide pursuant to the Club Guide Agreement, including for the following reasons:
- Disrespectful, rude, offensive or vulgar behavior or language of any kind.
- Sexual harassment.
- Violence or threats of any kind.
- Repeated complaints from Parents or Students
