How to Upload a Video

Trying to upload a video? Here are a few tips:

Use an Android phone, Windows tablet, or PC camera to record your video (RECOMMENDED). Androids and PCs generally record videos as .mp4 files, and our system likes these. Just save the video, access your Student Dashboard, and upload the file. If you’re using your phone, you can email the video, to your desktop, and send it from there.
Use an iPhone or iPad. Macs and iPhones/iPads record videos as .mov files. We have recently started accepting this format. If you have troubles uploading a .mov file, please email us at info@brainchase.com.
Post your video on a video sharing site, and submit the link. Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and others will all work. But if you’re doing this, make sure your account is set to Public, or we won’t be able to access the files.
Just email us! If the other methods aren’t working, just send the video file to info@brainchase.com, and list the participant’s name and the challenge in the subject line. Please also tell us in your submission that you’re emailing it in.
