Why Brain Chase Works
Designed by two Harvard grads for their own kids
SUPERCHARGE YOUR STUDENTS' DOWNTIME
Did you know that US students spend only 20% of their waking hours in school? The way they use their out-of-school time will largely determine how students progress in the classroom. Brain Chase was designed by experts in blended learning to provide students with an academic "supervitamin" for out-of-school enrichment.
LEARN MORE ON OUR BLOGHANDS-ON LEARNING
Brain Chase is not about sitting in front of a computer for hours on end. We've designed electives like art, engineering, yoga, and cooking to get our students up and moving. Plus, every student must complete weekly bonus challenges using tools like decoder rings, sundials, and compasses that arrive in the mail.
SEE ONE STUDENT'S ENGINEERING SUBMISSIONPERSONALIZED CURRICULUM
Brain Chase empowers students to control their entire learning adventure. First, students create custom academic playlists from among the growing Brain Chase elective library. Next, students decide when, where, and at what pace they'll complete the activities. Students who easily grasp math topics can quickly breeze ahead to more difficult material, while kids who need a bit more practice can focus on academic trouble spots. Unlike textbooks and worksheets, online content can adapt to students' needs and adjust to any level.
MORE ABOUT ONLINE LEARNINGBUILT-IN MOTIVATION
Brain Chase motivates student achievement by putting them right in the middle of the story. The Brain Chase dashboard allows students to track daily and weekly progress in a structured, gamified environment, so they're able to celebrate accomplishments both large and small. And when you add elements like personal feedback from Brain Chase teachers, the weekly incentive of unlocking new chapters in the animated story, and the global race to find a real-life missing treasure, Brain Chase becomes irresistible.
