Students should be able to read and type without too much help from parents, so we recommend children wait until the age of 6 or 7 to begin Brain Chase. After that, the challenges can be personalized to fit any different age or skill level (i.e., with Khan Academy, students can practice basic subtraction or calculus).

We’ve designed the program specifically for students in 2nd – 8th grades, and the contest rules stipulate that kids must be between the ages of 6 and 16 to claim the treasure.
