Our 2016 Spring Semester led our students around the earth on a quest to locate the Globe of Magellan. Briggs Dommert was the first student to discover the Globe’s location in a meadow just outside of New Orleans.

Briggs and his family traveled to New Orleans this past week and had the chance to explore the bayous, visit historical sites, and, of course, take in some French cuisine.

The trip culminated in the chance for Briggs and his family to unearth the Globe. After a bit of hard work, they were able to find the Globe and access the scholarship money. Congrats to Briggs and his family!
