You can use the same job description to recruit online camp guides as you’ve used in the past to recruit in-person camp counselors. We recommend, however, that you add four additional requirements to your job description to take into account the virtual nature of the camp guide role:

1. Must have high-speed, extremely reliable Internet access and your own laptop with a webcam and microphone (either built-in or external).
2. Must have experience and be adept with Zoom video conferencing.
3. Must have a professional, quiet workspace where they can be available to campers throughout all of the camp day (9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).
4. Applicants should be strong writers who can give clear, grammatically correct, written feedback to online assignments that campers submit.
