We know. You’ve been counting down the days until you could celebrate February 23 with us.
It’s finally here! Digital Learning Day.
DOES DIGITAL LEARNING DAY REALLY EXIST?
It does! It was started about 5 years ago to celebrate the use of digital technology in learning and highlight innovative and forward-thinking use of technology for learning in the classroom. It also is designed to challenge teachers and classrooms to find new ways to implement digital technology in the classroom.
DigitalLearningDay.org lists several ways you can celebrate today:
- Use technology in a lesson you teach today. For specific lesson ideas, click here.
- Visit and become involved one of the many online resources available to to encourage learning and education. Click here to see a list of these options.
- Enroll in a top-notch online learning program, like Brain Chase, Kahn Academy, or Rosetta Stone.
No one can discount the importance technology plays in our society. So be sure to take a few minutes to celebrate its roll in education, too. Have a great #dlday.
