Did you know that May 24th is “National Scavenger Hunt Day?” Yep, it’s a thing. We’re hiding $1,000 in four different libraries around the country.
Do you have what it takes to solve the riddles and find the cash? Let the Library Scavenger Hunts begin!
What is a Library Challenge? Each week for the next four weeks, Brain Chase will select a library in a specific US city and plant a key inside a specific book. Your job is to locate the library and the book the key is hidden in. Be the first to claim it, and the key is yours.
Why libraries? Summer is just around the corner (and so is summer learning loss!), so it’s time we reacquaint you with your local library.
How do I find the key? Every week, we will post a riddle on our website. The solution to the riddle will lead you to the exact library and book where you can discover the key.
What does the key do? The key unlocks a treasure chest containing $1000.00 USD in cold, hard cash, which is your prize for being the first to find it.
When I find the key, what do I do? Instructions will be attached to the key. Follow those instructions.
What’s the catch? No catch. No purchase required. Just solve the riddle, and the money is yours.
When and where does it start? DALLAS – you’re up first! Somewhere in the Dallas area, a key is waiting in a book at a library. At 3 p.m. Central time on Tuesday, May 24, we will post a riddle at brainchase.com.
